High and low voltage main unit insulation method

1. Heat shrinkable sheath

The insulation performance between the main unit can be strengthened, but the sheath has the problem of insulation aging, and the heat dissipation conditions of the main unit become worse, which also increases the production cost;

2. Cold shrink sheath

The operation is simple and does not require heating. However, the cost is high, and there are problems of insulation aging and poor heat dissipation conditions of the main unit;

3. Vulcanization spraying

The process is more complicated, and when there is a bruise, it can not be remedied, and the connection cannot be processed;

4.SF6 gas

Filling the sealed main unit and circuit breaker room with 0.04Mpa SF6 gas can improve the insulation performance between the main unit; the main unit does not need to be repaired and maintained during the whole life cycle, and it is not affected by the external environment, and it is safe and reliable. But the production process is more complicated.

5. Install partitions

According to the national standard, the minimum distance between the SMC insulation partition and the charged body is : 10kV≦30mm, which is more convenient for processing and installation, but the cost will increase.
