Hydrophilicity or hydrophobicity is the surface property of a solid material. Water forms a water droplet or water droplet on a hydrophobic solid surface. The familiar surface of the lotus leaf is a typical strong hydrophobic surface in nature. The water has a rounded globular shape on it; and the water forms a continuous water film or water sheet on the hydrophilic surface, such as the state of water on the surface of the ceramic or glass.
