10kv drop-out fuse switch selection skills

The 10kV drop-out fuse is suitable for the environment where the ambient air has no conductive dust, no corrosive gas, flammable, explosive and other dangerous environments, and the annual temperature difference ratio is within ±40℃

The selection is based on the two parameters of extra voltage and extra current, that is, the extra voltage of the fuse must match the extra voltage of the equipment (line) to be maintained.

The extra current of the fuse should be greater than or equal to the extra current of the melt. The extra current of the melt can be 1.5 to 2 times the extra load current.

In addition, the selected fuse should be checked according to the three-phase short-circuit capacity of the system to be maintained. Ensure that the three-phase short-circuit capacity of the system to be maintained is less than the upper limit of the additional breaking capacity of the fuse, but it must be greater than the lower limit of the additional breaking capacity.

If the additional breaking capacity of the fuse (usually the upper limit) is too large, it is likely that the three-phase short-circuit capacity of the maintained system will be less than the lower limit of the additional breaking capacity of the fuse, which makes it difficult to extinguish the arc when the melt is blown, which will eventually lead to The melting pipe was burnt and blasted.

At present, some power supply units are still at the peak of rural power network transformation. When choosing this type of fuse, it is necessary to strictly control the quality of goods and maintain qualified equipment into the network. At the same time, pay attention to the upper and lower limits of its additional disconnection capacity.
